My family has lived here for two months now, and so far we are pretty happy with our experience here. The AC in our unit was not working when we first moved in(in May). My husband is disabled and cannot regulate his body temperature...if he gets too hot he will have seizures. The leasing office was able to get us a portable AC unit to make it so at least part of our unit was cooler. I was impressed that they worked so quickly to keep my husband safe. And yes, our AC was fixed and my husband keeps the temp set at Polar bear lol I am also impressed that all three ladies in the office know me by name, even though there are 200+ units here. It makes it feel more like a community! The only thing that makes me sad is that the Village grocery store is gone. When we toured the complex last year we were very excited to have businesses nearby especially the store! Then we learned that we would be in the building above the store, and that made us happy. Unfortunately it closed down a couple of months before we moved in... hopefully there will be a replacement!

Smooth moving in process. When I got the keys I did a walkthrough and everything was clean and well taken care off. The entire staff was super helpful with all the questions I had as well. The layout of the building is easy to find and not to mention the layouts are amazing! Would recommend to rent here.

I would like to give some feedback on our living experience at Sunset Ridge. We moved in and lived here 1 year. We would have like to have stayed but the company is more interested in investing in new renters with unknown track record as we were given a re sign option at $1540. Per month while advertising $1298.00 on Craigslist a month for new renters. We have never been late with rent once and have been model tenants. The upper management has been up and down in the office. Aldo who is now gone was pretty good. Kirk is also a good office person you can count on. One of the factors that is a turn off living here is all the subletting people are renting space that prohibits them to do so. Like the basements ,so you'll have a harder time finding parking because those people who have 9 people living out of a 2 bedroom and each drives a car. Over all for the room sqf you will not find anything close to this for the price.

I lived here a few years ago, and despite absolutely LOVING my townhouse, I had to move due to countless problems with the previous management. Now that they have been taken over by a new management company, I decided to apply here again. Let me tell you, the difference is astounding! The application process was so quick and easy, and Stevi really took the time to make sure that we found the perfect home! She took the time to sit down with me and a map of the property so that way we could pick a unit in the location we wanted, even though it was chaotic Monday morning in the office and I'm sure she had plenty of other things to do. I am so excited to move back into Sunset Ridge! I can already tell the new management genuinely cares about their residents.

There were 2 small screws and a cotter pin in our garbage disposal that the maintenance man found with relative ease. They must've been there from before we moved in, because small screws are pretty common, but I haven't even laid eyes on a cotter pin in a few years. Anyway, it was pretty quick and the disposal works fine now. Thank you!

I have lived at the apartments for 22 months now, and plan on renewing my lease in October! I love the layout of my apartment, his and hers closets, bathroom is huge and love the high ceilings. Management has always been quick to act on my service calls, and are great to work with. There is a small market place in the apartments which makes it great to stop and pick up the few items you need or forgot at the store. I would recommend these apartment to my friends and family. Close to the Liquor store, Smiths, Betos, the Jordan River and the Freeway. What more can you ask for?

I have loved Village at Rivers Edge!!! I first noticed how nice the apartments were and how up to date they are. Several other complexes around this area were out dated, but not Village! It has been kept up to date and I live in a gorgeous community. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Office, Leasing staff, and Maintenance staff! Anytime I have needed something they have been quick, kind, attentive, and they even knew who I was. I wasn't just another resident to them!! They had everything I needed to get my internet and TV set up which was a huge relief! I've been able to enjoy an onsite 24 hour gym, hot tub, and am within walking distance to several stores. It's been such a great experience for me and I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Things here moved pretty slowly at first. Now they’re right on it. We had a couple of maintenance issues and both times they were attended to very expeditiously. The staff here are as professional as they are welcoming, we also have excellent neighbors. The child park and dog park are in close proximity, just don’t get them mixed up. I did and let me tell ya, they frown on leaving your dog in the swing while you walk your kid. Something about leash laws applying to dogs and not toddlers, I’m still perplexed by this. There are a few other places where they have doo doo bags about the property. The only drawback I’ve encountered, is parking. No garage means apartment style parking lot. We like it here and this has been a great choice for us. That heated pool is calling out, gotta go.

So let me start by saying that I lived in these apartments under two different management groups. For the sake of honesty and fairness, I will speak on both and maybe you will see why I gave the property 5 stars. The team that headed management for this location was WillMax and they stink to high heaven! I paid my rent, was a good tenant and somehow I was evicted without ever even being told. So I was still living in the apartment, paying rent but was "evicted". This was irresponsible on WillMax's part and they have not returned any of my calls and thus I will likely have to hire a lawyer to get this straightened out. They were sloppy, and disorganized and unprofessional at best, and I would never again stay in a property managed by this company. I rated them on Google. Now on to the reason for the five star rating. I give it such a high rating based on several factors. First, the new management team- They came in and worked supremely hard to right so many of the wrongs that had occurred in this location prior to their taking over. The team is professional and work well together. They also made a smart move by retaining the Maintenance supervisor, Travis Erickson. Travis has been there a long time and he does excellent work. He is prompt and courteous and works hard to get things fixed in record timing. He is friendly, approachable and just a really cool dude. He exceeds what would be expected of any person in his position and I miss him dearly! Gemma, the new manager is pretty awesome!! She was very helpful when I moved from the property into my new home. She apologized that the previous team had not offered me a renewal quote and she just handled my situation with class. The living space is great for the money, the apartment homes are much larger than most and the basement storage is awesome! The layout of my place was sensible and spacious, updated very well for a older property and energy efficient. The landscape was really nice, they worked hard to keep everything in order, trimmed bushes and trees, dog poop pick up service (even though it is NOT their responsibility to clean after our pets), and a really nice playground and dog park (mostly open space). The place was over the top animal friendly, but the deposits for pets was fair. There is also an large pool that is most times heated and open year around. The parking is kinda tough as it isn't assigned, but I did not usually have trouble parking near my own apartment. The neighbors were awesome, many having been in residence for 10+ years and just good people. At holidays, the tenants were festive and friendly, no issues with crazy or criminal behavior. The community outreach team was often times out early in the morning to offer cookies, burritos, etc and were great morale boosters. The complex is close to all kinds of shopping and right near highway 36. It is a stellar location. All in all, I enjoyed living in Sunset Ridge, more so after the new team took over, but in general it was a very good place to live. They were helpful even though I had tough credit issues after my divorce and I exited without any problems with a reasonable cleaning of the place. I would recommend it. Great value for your dollar.

I have lived here about a year and have loved it. Only complaint is that the playground is always trashed. I typically spend 10 minutes picking up trash and placing it in the trash cans. This is a two fold issue. Lazy messy ass neighbors who don't put their trash where it belongs and management who don't send people out to make sure the ground are clean. Had new management take over a few months back and have had little to no interaction with them so I can't speak on how they are, but, previous group was not terrible. Decent neighbors around my unit. And I only had one bad experience of having my car stereo faceplate taken from my car (I left my doors unlocked). All in all outs a nice place to live. Going to sign a new lease come the end of my lease in April.

My family and I recently moved due to a job transfer. We lived at Sunset Ridge for three years. This complex has seen some crappy managment over the years. It's unfortunate that when we leave a new company called roscoe took over. It's like a breath of fresh air. They are so friendly and professional. They were never rude to us when we asked for any kind of help with our unit or had questions. I truly believe it will take some time to get their review score up. But I believe that Roscoe has their heart in Sunset Ridge. They have already done an amazing job cleaning up the mess Wilmax left. I believe that Roscoe is fair and honest in their management dealings.

I expected a bit more. Award winning? My downstairs bathroom is falling apart. The basement lights flicker on and off. Got to wiggle the light bulbs just right. Any time I plug something into an outlet it falls out. A few outlets are ok. A child must have painted this place. There is dried paint dripping down most of the walls. Paint splattered over everything and the wood floors. They never laid down plastic. Hot and cold handles are all backwards on the sinks. Kitchen sink handle is barely holding together. Turning it off and on is a chore. We have reported these issues and they have not been fixed.. Ever! I also had to lay down newspapers in my cupboards and even on top because there is an extremely thick layer of sticky something that I can't wipe, neither scrape off. No idea what it is. There are a lot of good things about this place too. My child absolutely loves the playground. The pool is pretty clean and enjoyable. Management and employees seem to be very very nice and pleasant. I also feel very safe here in this location, even past dark. My neighbors are all delightful as well. Noise is minimum. I can tell when my neighbors are home, I can hear them up and down the stairs, turning on the shower or garbage disposal, but I have never heard voices/music/tv's/ect. That is a plus. I would recommend this place. Just wish they had more maintenance people to get things on their To-Do list done, cause I am sure it is extremely long.
